He doesn't like Strand because Strand is a con man and ultimately a coward, someone who will say and do and deal whatever is necessary to not only survive but to also come out ahead. Daniel on the other hand seemed to have done what he did because he was good at it, however, like Strand, he was operating out of a place of fear (that is, if he didn't get on board and become the killer he would become one of those killed). But Daniel's past is haunting him, which is a sign of guilty conscious. Strand on the other hand, is pure ego.
Bottom line: Daniel has a moral code, Strand does not.
LOL. Daniel has a moral code. Dude has killed people. Innocent people too. I don't believe Strand has killed people. Maybe swindled people out of their money but not their lives.
Didn't she run away from the hotel mess to strike out on her own? I believe she might be with the people that shot down the helicopter. But just a guess.
I think the writing has really picked up. Daniel's story-line is great. Blades is a really good actor.
Also, I think both Strand and Daniel have a moral code. It can get fuzzy with personal dangers but they both have one.
What happened to Daniel's daughter, Ophelia? I can't remember if she's dead or alive.

I think it was ridiculous the way she just slipped off and took their shared vehicle without a word. She put Alicia at risk, because Alicia was wandering around looking for her.
At the end of last season, she was traveling on foot in an isolated place and someone began shooting at her. She hid behind a tree, but he found her. We don't know yet how that turns out for Ophelia.
That someone who "welcomed" Ofelia is Jeremiah, but she hasn't yet been seen at the compound/ranch/prepper palace (what's that place called?).
