The thing that's creepy and interesting about the dogs and cats is that they just didn't show intelligence. They showed cunning.

Those cats were ready to attack those children until the reporter called the authorities. They all thought "we've been caught" and they all casually went home as if nothing happened.

Then that dog. Lured that poor man into trap, and afterward, he just came home as if nothing happened.

I read the book and did not like it much--it was a little thin. But televisions seems to be a good medium for Zoo, and I like the program.

That being said, has anyone noticed the news reports lately? I really wouldn't have noticed if not for Zoo, but it is a little weird. Just sayin.....

Like you said, you probably noticed because of the show. It's like when you get another car...you start noticing all the other cars of the same brand/type when you never did before. Those types of things most likely happen all the time, we just don't notice. Although it does seem strange, doesn't it?

I just watched both episodes on demand and now I'm hooked. I can't wait for next week. Is this a miniseries?

I watched the first 2 episodes last night and now I'm hooked too! I'm a long time James Patterson reader, but have never read Zoo.

I'm liking this show. Hope it keeps going good and doesn't get boring. Glad to see his BFF is alive!

I like the story and the characters, but I don't like the scenes with the animals. It's not the animals' violence in the show that disturbs me. It's performance aspect of it. I just find it disturbing to imagine a bunch of dogs together on set, with a trainer or various trainers in the background giving orders to the dogs to "now growl and look menacing and vicious." I know that's probably silly.

No matter...it has Billy Burke in it so I'll watch!! :-)
