I also don't get how they could produce food, building supplies, weapons, power, etc for an entire town plus 200 extra people. And where do those people live and how do they survive?
And they have guns. How hard could it be to kill a bunch of unarmed abbies when you have guns and a helicopter? Apparently they can't climb concrete and wire fences, they can't be that tough.

lol...you can't overthink(or just think)these type of shows...you just have to buy into the plot line and go with it...

It was stored. The abbis are there in overwhelming numbers and attack in swarms and the towns people have no weapons.
The townspeople do have weapons, at least sort of. The security force has machine guns, and the cop has access to a large selection of weapons. Maybe not enough to kill every abbie, but plenty to take more territory than a smallish compound in Idaho.
I still enjoy the show, but M Night's stuff never makes any sense, you just have to roll with it like Irish says. I just enjoy practically thinking about ridiculous tv situations. It's my curse.
Just one more thing that does not make sense with the "they were in cyro for 2000 years story". Very few things that we use in our everyday life today would last for 2000 years just sitting around unused. But I guess we are supposed to believe that Pilcher also figured out ways to 'cryo' gun powder, lumber, window glass, light bulbs and electronics (cameras everywhere).

Yeah, just soooo implausible,it's pretty much ruined it for me.
The show was good until they made the nurse look like an good person "do you need an nurse". Da %$#$@ out.... It starting to look like an episode of "South Park".
The Nurse and her posse The science guy and the FBI team.
I think Aliens dominated the planet and they are keeping them alive to feast. This show is basically another version of V's. But they are dropping one bomb shell on another.
It reminds me of that other show. The 100 or is it called the 5400???
Next thing we will see is the Robot-Ice-creature from Logans run. Yes I did just say Logans Run.

It was 4400, in reference to Biblical prophesy. There may be a 100 one too, IDK.
