If they were to kill off Dr. Charles aka Oliver Platt I wouldn't miss him at all. My wife on the other hand loves the guy.

Personally I don't think they killed him off simply because the guy who shot him seems to have killed himself. Dr Charles has to process that guilt/angst for a dozen episodes.

I was just sitting there waiting for the "big" surprise. All of these Chicago shows end the season with a bang (pun intended). If you saw the previews for next week's Chicago Fire finale, as usual, they will have one of the firefighters (I think Casey) trapped in a burning building. That's how every season ends.

Platt is my favorite actor on the show. I hope he sticks around. I also like Torrey Devitto (nice to look at).

Dr, Charles is a narcissist person but not sure about malignant.

But I doubt he will die..........yet.
