After the third episode I think what's being perceived as discomfort in the role or a bad performance is actually Vince Vaughn playing his role exceptionally well. He's not the person that he presents himself to be. He's not the boss, he's the enforcer who beats people into bloody pulps. He's portraying Frank's discomfort.
Agreed. I think Vaughn, Farrell, and McAdams really started to own their roles in the 3rd episode.

can't agree with you more....
he had to, otherwise risk looking weak in front of his enemies....
he is amazing, they all are

I agree. I think he is finally hitting his stride. Some people that haven't seen his dramatic work in the past probably only see him as a comedy actor and, understandably, it is hard for them to get past that.

That's me. I don't think I've ever seen him in dramatic role.
I wonder why she was watching porn by herself. I imagine she is broken just like her sister and in need of help, or just like the guys.
So far i Am taking the show for what it is and not comparing it to season one. I'm liking it so far
I'm just having a difficult time even justifying watching this anymore. I was so engrossed by Season 1, I couldn't wait to watch each episode. Now I find that I am letting it linger for days on my DVR, a sure sign that I'm not really interested. These people just leave me cold, all of them, and I have no interest in their lives.

She's in need of help because she watches porn? Not all women cover the bed in rose petals and light 75 candles to masturbate. Some women just pull up some porn and go to town.

Same for me. I tried watching Season 2 and just could take it or leave it. I don't care much for any of the characters overall. I think there are too many "main" flawed characters to follow and it just seems disjointed.
I had recently binge-watched Season I and enjoyed it, though it was sometimes hard to follow.

Wasn't she looking up a website involved with the prostitution ring and not just watching porn?
