Since I was little I loved this series, and I always have wanted a reboot/spinoff of it featuring the Rose Wilder years. She is actually an interesting historical figure and was a contemporary of Ayn Rand. I think especially with the recent return to period pieces, a show like that would be successful on a network like AMC or maybe PBS.
I agree that Rose Wilder Lane would make an interesting character for TV. She could even be an amateur sleuth. Wasn't she a journalist?
