I usually agree with Simon for the most part, but I wasn't feeling him last night. I thought Michael was great! I love 'A Day in the Life' and thought he sounded terrific. I also thought David Cook was awesome. Carly was great, as she usually is, but I've never been too fond of 'Blackbird' - although I love the Beatles and 90% of their music.

I didn't like Brooke much (the dancing totally distracted me - I agree that she needs to go back to what she knows), I thought Kristy Lee was awful, as I usually do, and Syesha sucked, as she usually does. She can sing, but for one thing, she bores me to tears, and for another, I think she has this sense of entitlement and an ego as big as Texas and it bugs me to no end. When the judges praise her, I can almost hear her agreeing with them!

I love David A. and I loved the song he chose last night, although it wasn't flashy by any means. Chikezie was good, I thought, and I admired his chutzpah in trying the harmonica. Jason, who I love, wasn't great, if you ask me - the Brooke thing affected him too, as I don't think he's used to just standing there and singing without his instrument. Ramiele, who I've thought was one of the strongest females, was horrid. Amanda, who I adored during the auditions, did alright, but she didn't blow me away.

Bottom three should be Kristy Lee, Syesha, and Ramiele. I hope one of the first two goes home and Ramiele gets back to being good again.

Last night was soooooo boring, I couldn't make it through the last few contestants. I think Randy's yawn was the perfect kick off to the night.

I loved David C's performance, but no one else really did it for me. Syesha comes across as a fake pageant contestant. It's like she's acting while she's singing and it annoys me.

I thought Ramiele was really good at first too, but she hasn't shown it since.

Does anyone know the theme for next week?

Really? I wonder if that really is the theme. If so - I have no idea what's on the ITunes Top 100 right now since most of the music I listen to is at least 20 years old so I hope it doesn't suck.

Last night had to be the most boring Idol ever. EVAARRRRR. I kept falling asleep because it was so boring. The only spark was the first contestant and her refusing to buckle to the judges about doing a ballad. Good for you, stick to what you LIKE and enjoy yourself.

I'm just thankful I watched it on DVR. I hit the FF quite a bit last night. I'll check at lunch when I can hit a couple other sites and see if that's right. I think it should be good. If any of them want to sell records, they need to be able to sing what people are buying today.
