I don't think Carly going had anything to do with her sleeve. Just look at Pink and how popular she is. I also think that the older demographic that may possibly be offended are not the ones typically buying the cd's and making the artist a star. I could be wrong. I've been surprised at how often her tattoo was brought up on this thread, when it didn't occur to me that it was a turn off for some people. I think that in general, the younger crowd is very accepting of personal appearance. I think the problem was that while Carly has a good voice, she wasn't able to really connect with the audience or as HDL would say "no IT factor".
The two David's should make it to the finals. Hopefully David C can blow David A out of the water then! Carly was not the worst this week... but I'm glad that she's gone. She yells when she sings... and then makes this constipated look with her face. Drove me crazy!
Have you seen the new commercials? Yuck!!! I want to puke when I hear Mr. Dreadman talk. "You can't stop and start again" Is that a punch at Brooke's do-over last week? I hope he's gone this week.

I second that David Cook and David A are going to be the final 2. I like Cook, may not have the best vocals but he is the most creative and talented. He also has that appeal. David A is just annoying me, he's sweet and has an incredible voice- I just can't see him selling albums. He just sings old.
I'm feeling a little "Eh". He does have some good songs. I have to TiVo it b/c we have a baseball game tonight but I'm going to try to watch when we get home.

But I'm watching the second half hour now. And David Cook is doing great!!
