Well, there wasn't anyone that was overwhelmingly bad. A couple were a bit boring, like the kid who looks like Peter Frampton, he was boring. The theme was 60s songs, by the way and you can download them on Itunes.

The best ones were the Australian guy who sang last and did Light My Fire. David Cook was great. He sang what I think was a Partridge Family song, but he made it a rock song. The dread locked guy, Jason Castro was good. He played a guitar with his song. He must have the shy gene though, but it's cute. Those were my 3 favorites.

The smiley adorable 17-year-old was good, but Ryan said you could only vote for him, not adopt him. There is one contestant who looks like Ellen Degeneres. I wasn't crazy about him. A bit too hyper for me. There's one who looks like Adam Sandler. He was okay and he had to sing first. His last name his Hernandez I think.

That's about all I can remember.

I adore the guys, especially the aussie, Jason Castro, David Cook and the cute little 17 year old - no I'm not Mrs. Robinson. Maybe.
I think we should just send the girls home and go with 12 guys.

For being the first night on the stage & having to do 60's songs they did really well! I'm comparing them to the first stage performances I've seen on past seasons & again, they did really well.

I'm not good with the names yet but Dreadlock guy is such a natural. I love watching his facial expressions as he sings.
David Archuleta (I know his name!) is not only incredibly adorable, but a powerhouse of a singer! And like Randy said, so mature for his age! An old soul!

I'm excited to see the girls!

Am I the only one who think David Archuletta is annoying as can be??? He is so dorky....I can't believe he's making people swoon. Now Luke Menard and the Aussie dude are HOT, HOT, HOT! The Aussie guy was great as were, Robbie Carrico, and Dreadlock dude that looks a lot like John Travolta (minus the dreds). David can sing ok but he did not warrant all the gushing praise he got. These are 5 are the ones I'd like to see stick around. The rest are eh.

I am a David fan, but he does gush an awful lot which is annoying as all get out.

Jason is HOT HOT HOT!!! I like wish I could have all his babies.
Chikeze or whatever his name is has potential.
I didn't like that blond haired kid with all the hair too much.

But since season 1, the guys haven't been too hot.

And this is season 7 btw....someone said it's the 8th season.

I only caught the last 10 minutes or so of tonight's episode, so basically, I saw the last singer (Carly, the Irish girl) and the recaps. I thought Carly sounded good, but it was a poor song choice. That plus size model (Joanne) didn't sound good at all on her recap. A few other gals (the prettiest ones basically) were not impressive. I like Brooke a lot but was not impressed by her performance. Sayesha was good...I don't remember Alexandrea from Hollywood week but she sounded really good in her recap.

Alexandrea
Asia'H
Ramiele
Syesha
Carly

Those are my picks...Joanne really didn't do good at all, but I have hopes for her. She just has to get over her nerves!

I think Ramiele is the best of the girls.
And the Aussie(Michael?) is the best of the guys.

I think the guys have it this year. I think they have more talent as a group. It will be interesting to see who America picks this year!
