I was watching b ball last night and didn't get to see the girls, but I wasn't really impressed during auditions. I'm rooting for Robbie and Michael for the final 2!

Too much work to chat today, but popped in to say that IMO, the girls are not nearly as good as the guys overall! Liked about three of them and that was it! Curious to see who gets voted off tonight. I'm thinking Amy and Joanne, myself, although I thought Kristie Lee was weaker (and scarier looking with all that eye-popping) than Joanne.

Overall, I think it will be a guy winning it this year. And more guys going into it in the end, than the girls.
Of the boys, I liked that young David A, the HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTT Aussie guy (yummy...whoopss..I'm married) and the dreadlock kid was pretty good. Oh, the rocker boy who sang the cheesy song (don't remember the son) isn't too bad as well as another rocker.
The girls...eh. Most of them were plain boring. I like the rocker chick but I didn't dig the song. I liked the phillipino (probably not what she was) with the cool hair. I did like the girl that can pose as Britney Spears...didn't like the song, but I don't think she did as poorly as the judges did.
Either way, the boys have it. Even the worst boy is not as bad as the worst girl. Well, maybe the long hair blond boy.

I definitely think its going to be a guy winner this season.
I really want that Garrett Haley and Chiekeze guys gone and for girls Kady Malloy and Amy Davis, though I have a sneaking suspicion that Kady is going to be around another week.
My favorite guys are David Cook, David Archuleta and Michael Johns
My favorite gals are Ramiele, Asia'h, and Alaina

I was not sorry at all to see the four go that went tonight; none were that good at all.
I just noticed tonight, for the first time, Luke. OMG, what a hottie!!! How nice to have two hotties.
What did ya'll think of Paula's new song and video? My reaction: eh

I got home late tonight and only caught the last 10 minutes, but I wasn't sad to see any of them go.

'Idol' Cuts 4 but Keeps Irish Crooner

NEW YORK (AP) - Carly Smithson progressed on "American Idol" Thursday amid controversy over her professional past. Smithson, 24, has made headlines for having a pre-"Idol" career: The Irish crooner recorded a debut album, 2001's "Ultimate High," for MCA Records. It flopped _ after the label spent more than $2 million trying to sell it.

Luke is very cute, indeed - I think he resembles Orlando Bloom, myself.
I wasn't sad to see any of them go, either. Funny - my DD's choir is learning "Where The Boys Are" for a 60s show right now, and she said, "MOTHER! My CHOIR sounds better singing that song than she does!" (Talking about Amy, who was definitely terrible and sounded worse last night!)
Hoping next week's theme is better - I wasn't too fond of "60s Night" right out of the gate.

I kept calling Luke, Will Turner (Pirates), when he was singing and my wife was ready to kill me. I'm glad you agree that he looks like Orlando Bloom!
I think from the top 12 on it will be a good show. I haven't been overly impressed with many of the contestants. Michael is the best, IMO.

He does, RedSox! LOL @ Will Turner! Your wife was probably just trying to quietly enjoy the scenery for a few minutes!
