The bungee jump really didn't affect the race since all teams wound up on the same flight to Paris. It did give the team members that hadn't done the zip line on the previous episode an opportunity for a freefall thrill. Only Chris of the paparazzi did both.

The Green Team's big move was to get the first train from Paris to the Aerodrome museum. That put them in the lead and kept them separated from the other teams to the pit stop. They've been working together well all race, but now that they've started bickering, they could be in trouble.

Five teams were packed together on the same trains to and from the aerodrome museum, and none of them could find the White Phantom (Le Fantome Blanc--or "the white guy") easily. They were all together headed for the detour.

The cheerleaders moved ahead when they were able to do the rap challenge easily and quickly. They started the detour in 4th place but finished 2nd and got to the pit stop 2nd.

The reporters had a steady leg and finished 3rd.

The Texans started the detour in 2nd place but finished 5th when they had to go back and fix their seafood platter. They finished the leg 4th.

ChacAttack finished the detour 3rd when they made a successful seafood platter on the first try but couldn't get their taxi driver to take them to the right bridge. That put them behind and they finished the leg in 5th place.

The paparazzi had a big misfortune when Logan failed to find the third word in the biplane challenge and had to go up again. (I knew the answer from my 8th grade history class.) That put them behind, and they were on a train back to Paris by themselves. They started the detour last but finished the seafood platter before team Alabama finished the rap, and they were 7th to the pit stop.

Team Alabama were in the thick of things until they tried to find a detour. They started for the seafood platter challenge but couldn't find that. They then looked for the rap challenge but had a hard time finding that. They finally found the rappers, but Mom couldn't rap in french. All the other teams have made it to the pit stop. They're way behind, but it's a continuation leg, so they're still in it. Can they finish the rap? Will they have to switch detours? Will they get lost again? Just how far behind will they be? Another case of first to last.

The Hah-Gu -- "Probably the person who runs the Peaceful Palace," said the TV reporters, who should know better.

That was hilarious. Plus the doctors thinking Rotterdam and Amsterdam are the same place. This is what passes for geographic literacy these days.

I was slack-jawed when I heard them say "The Hag-ue". If I were planning a race around the world I'd at least try and learn some basic geography. They really sounded so stupid...

It was hilariously bad. These are all 'educated' people. They should be mortified over their stupidity.
