Truer words were never spoken. Barrett ranked higher than Jeffrey in the finals? I'm completely mystified. He is not a good singer, and an even worse performer. His performance of Silent Night (which is an oversung song anyway) was laughable. He looked like he was in pain trying to squeeze one out. I still don't understand America's fascination with him. When I heard his duet with Zach, it was even more clear that Zach is ten times the talent and half his age. I hope Jeffrey makes an album. He's Luther Vandross reincarnated, IMO. I'm glad Jordan won. He's a rare talent. But it was pretty much predicted he would. But he's rather an enigma to us. My wife and I were discussing last night what type of album Jordan would do. Unlike the other finalists, we had no idea.
Agreed. Zach would have been in the finals if I had my way.
And rap. I hated that guy who rap hopped around the stage and spoke half his lines. I was like WTH, this is country now?
Also hated the black guy whose name I thought was the name of the song. I guess it's a good thing I don't vote anymore because my tastes are so far off from the people who actually buy music, if these two are any indication.

Not a fan of the show after blakes people always seem to win. It gets tiring watching them posture. Looks phony. Don't like singing shows. Wish they would go,off the air....
You don't have to watch them or come to forums to discuss them.
Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they should go off the air. They're one of the only shows I like anymore!

Agreed, I love the weekend and liked his performance.
I also like Sam Hunt but that wasn't his best performance in my book but he's a rising star. He's going touring with Kenney Chesney and Miranda Lambert in January so he's no slouch!
I think the right person won but Jeffery was pretty awesome too.
I feel like the only that held Jeffrey back was he didn't relate much to the audience. He did get it together more right at the end but if he'd have done it sooner he would have been higher up the rankings. Either way I think he has a career in music!
It's no surprise to me that fat boy won, they pimped him enough. Yeah, he could sing not my favorite tho.
