I think it's definitely editing. No way could someone get that far in their career and be so clueless about her behavior being inappropriate. I think if we had more context it would have come across as more joking and playful instead of creepy and predatory.
Every season has to have that one character that has to be "extra" about everything and this season it's BOBBY!
Bobby seems like one of those predators on the ID channel show "Your Worst Nightmare." He's plays the good guy until the girls says no.

He got upset when Hannah said he was being aggressive. I really wish she would have stuck a mirror in front of him just so he could see just how aggressive he was being.

If he did choose Lauren over Emily then I have lost a lot of respect for him. Emily actually seemed like a nice smart woman. Lauren from what I've seen so far is ridiculous. She asks Bobby to come talk to her so she can resolve their issues and then gets mad at him actually made me do the unthinkable and side with Bobby. I'm not sure why she wants attention from Bobby so desperately but it's not a good look. If she wants a friend there are plenty of other people on the ship she can try that with.

Looks like that new girl is his female counterpart. So far she banged 2 people without even being on the show yet.
I also agreed with Bobby. I loathe men like that, showing their good side when they are wooing you and the second, the SECOND you tell them they have no chance in hell... BAM! True colors out, yuck!!
