There is enough crap on tv. Why not keep a family channel? ABC, your are posers!
I bet that Pat Robertson has been pulling out his hair over the families presented on ABC Family when the 700 Club went off. He is probably glad they dropped family. So now when do they stop using shows with SAG actors and free from the next Kardasian clan into 23 hours of cheaper reality "stars"?

The 700 Club will still be shown. Besides, if he really cared he wouldnt have sold it to Fox (who later sold it to Disney/ABC)

Christian Broadcasting Network is a non-profit corporation, but the cable channel was making too much money by 1997 for the federal government to accept that it belonged to a non-profit organization. They had to sell it and keep producing the shows that allow it to keep the corporate non-profit status and produce the following shows:

I was referring to the other 23 hours of the day, unless they are doing multiple daily airings of the 700 Club on Freeform. That the families of ABC Family included lesbian couples in blended families makes me sure Reverend Pat was losing sleep over the presentation a family which rumor said he forced into the name.

CBN NewsWatch
Christian World News
One Cubed USA and One Cubed International
Well, right. They could have found ways to keep it but I would argue it was a cash grab rather than trying to remain a non-profit entity.
