Wicked City premieres tonight on ABC. It is set in 1982 Los Angeles. It is about a man and woman serial killer team and the cops who are assigned to stop them.
I'll give it a shot.

Well I plan to watch it..........eventually. The wife gave it an "omg I want to see that!!" which in wife speak means all 13 episodes (until it gets a full season) will stack up on the DVR and we'll watch one episode per month.

That was my thought exactly. No desire to see it. However if reviews are good here, I may tune in at a later date

I liked it. I DVR'd it, and I want to see it again because I missed the connection between the reporter girl and how she hooked up with Jeremy Sisco's character. I really like the actor playing the murderer. I will definitely watch it next week. I love the 80's setting.

Havent seen it yet but ratings for the premiere were in the toilet. Its debut matched "Forever's" (same time slot) lowest rated episode. We know how "Forever" turned out.

Ratings for the premier were .9/3 in key demographic and 3.3mil total viewers. As a comparison, "Forever" debuted (also against the World Series) to a 1.2 and 5mil viewers.

My wife and I watched it and we were unimpressed. Probably give it another try though. Everything is pretty and glitzy and fun to look at to relive the 80's - but the plot just seems a bit tired and not much new is brought to the table.

The hardest thing is being spoiled on all the current CSI type shows where crime is solved in an hour and you wonder how low tech we were back then that a guy like this could get away with these brazen murders for so long.

I'm also not sure I buy Swimfan's character at all. A single mother of two that is a nurse who is also a closet sadomasochist sociopath.

K.

It is only 10 episodes, so they may let it run even if ratings are terrible. It is supposed to be an anthology series (like American Horror Story and Secrets and Lies), so each season will be different.
