Seinfeld- hilarious, good cast, excellent comedy, can watch this all day!

Mad About You- Probably the most underrated NBC sitcom ever(besides Wings) . It's a very "tame" and " cozy" sitcom. I enjoy it a lot.

I Love Lucy- comedy genius. Perfect chemistry (on screen) . Ball's humor was funny. Lucy dragging Ethel into her crazy schemes. That's funny! Definitely worth multiple viewings.

The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis- Overall, a funny show and a classic! Although it only ran 4 Seasons it still was a good show for the whole family

F-Troop- I always liked the uniqueness of this sitcom. It was funny in a weird sort of way. Still in enjoy to this day. And will continue for many more years!

Am I the only person in the USA missing Lucy in the early mornings since Hallmark changed the schedule?

I agree with you about Seinfeld. We don't have it on at a convenient time in our area right now, but every time we catch a show (and I was still watching daily up until a couple of years ago) it's just as funny as it ever was. Strongly recommended.

Mad About You--I always liked it, my wife not so much, so we've never seen it in syndication. I think I would still like it, although I must admit that when Paul Reiser turned up as a new character on The Kominsky Method I found him (or his character) to be quite annoying.

Lucille Ball--always hated her, even when I was a kid.

Dobie Gillis--I would definitely be interested in seeing that again. I thought Maynard G. Krebs was a much better character than Gilligan. The funny thing is that Gilligan's Island started just a year after Dobie Gillis ended.

In the last year or so I've watched a couple of episodes of Hill Street Blues and that seemed to be pretty good.

I also think that The Wire and The Sopranos hold up very well.

We re-watch Seinfeld discs as we’re trying to wind down and get to sleep at night. They are still funny and familiar and timeless ...And best for me at bed-time, they are dialogue driven and I can listen to them and know what’s happening while my eyes are closed :-)

The entire collection of Seinfeld is available on Hulu. I just recently started watching it again.

Another one of my favorite shows is the Golden Girls (also available on Hulu). I have watched the complete series at least a dozen times and it never gets old. It makes for a great background show while I'm working.

I don't understand the thread title. Is this discussion restricted to NBC sitcoms? ILL and Dobie Gillis were CBS. F Troop was ABC.
