I'm not liking this season as well as I did 1 and 2 . I don't know maybe the gross meter is a lil high on this one moreso than the others and I cannot believe what happened and they would have killed nikki if the other situation had not happened , sorry but they cannot pin the deed on nikki yeah those clothes were packed .

Part of the reason I'm not enjoying this season as much --- besides the glacial pacing of the plot --- is that we've seen all this before. This is just season 1 with new names --- and season 1 was far, far better.

Season 1:
Central plot involves two brothers and their sibling rivalry. One brother is successful, the other a bit of a loser. Plot initiated by the loser's girlfriend. Loser brother is soon in over his head, and things are out of control.

Season 3:
Central plot involves two brothers and their sibling rivalry. One brother is successful, the other a bit of a loser. Plot initiated by the loser's wife. Loser brother is soon in over his head, and things are out of control.

Season 1:
Hero is a female cop who is very good but under appreciated in her job. Her efforts are constantly hampered by an idiot male boss.

Season 3:
Hero is a female cop who is very good but under appreciated in her job. Her efforts are constantly hampered by an idiot male boss.

Season 1:
Chief bad guy is an eccentric weirdo with a penchant for ultra-violence.

Season 3:
Chief bad guy is an eccentric weirdo with a penchant for ultra-violence.

Season 1:
Secondary bad guys have two violent henchmen with very quirky personalities. One seldom speaks, if at all.

Season 3:
Secondary bad guys have two violent henchmen with very quirky personalities. One seldom speaks, if at all.

This isn't just deja vu. This feels like writers running out of ideas.

One of the better episodes.

Will Mr. Wrench save Nikki or was it just a cameo appearanace?

Varga ruins Christmas by opening all the presents with a switchblade - what a Grinch!

I think Moe's stubbornness is unrealistic - it's way overdone - it's been irritating me all season.

It's still one of the best shows on TV. No doubt. But season 3 just isn't nearly as good as seasons 1 and 2. At least not yet.

Very cool scene on the bus with the background percussion. May be my favorite of the year.

Awesome ending scene. I think there's more to the story/Nikki than meets the eye. I think Mary McDonnell is going to be the major player when you start to follow the money. She's the investor...

Since Mr. Wrench was sitting next to Nikki they used this from season 1:

I didn't realize that. Thank you! And I never would have known that was Mr. Wrench without it being mentioned here.

I think this Wednesday is the final show . I hope nikki plays dead and runs like heck outta that bus . I thought the officer Gloria was going to follow the bus but no she said it was Christmas eve and she had to get home . Yep I think they should sell the business to the widow and let her deal with that varga character .
