I've seen a half dozen articles this morning trying to stir the racial pot regarding Trent's win over La'Porsha - all along the lines of he didn't deserve it and the black woman was robbed. Sad and typical of today's media - social and mainstream.
Yep, saw that all over Facebook. I was pulling for her, and thought she had an excellent chance, and she obviously did. She was runner-up, I'm sure she'll get a great deal, could even be better than Trent's. But Trent sounded the best. There's something about their mics on that show, they sound like they need to be turned up or something. Dalton didn't come through well this week. And neither did LaPorsha. But Trent, he must have been singing directly into it with it on his lips or something, because he sounded awesome and deserved to win. He kind of looks like a mix between my beloved Mayhem (Dean Winters) and Scotty McCreery lol.
Ugh. So disappointed. Not a fan of Trent, everything he sings sounds the same. Laporscha on the other hand has star quality, so Im sure we'll see her again.
... The "Idol Rockers" segment bordered on pathetic -- especially Durbin I think his name is -- he is under the illusion that he is a: hot and b: talented....
I loved the rockers segment--better than any other part of the show. I'm typically a country music fan. I would go to a concert featuring various Idol rockers. Did Adam perform? I must've missed him. I'll have to watch it again.
I thought overall, it was a very fitting ending to a great series.
No eyeliner or it is subdued on Dalton. One of the things I didn't like this season is music of past challenges
Here Dalton singing an excellent reprise of 1978 song that was sung by Olivia-Newton-John. He performed this morning.
