First, Peter threw the last ball to win the challenge. He had dropped to his knees and was very slow and lethargic. He clearly was having difficulty from the heat.
Then we saw the tribe together. Joe was standing to provide shade to Debbie, and Neal was standing holding his shirt to provide shade for Aubrey. Peter was sitting next to Debbie looking away, apparently disinterested in Debbie's situation.
Then we saw Joe call for help. But at that point Peter was flat on his back with just his face showing above the sand.
I think Peter also was affected by the heat to the point he was unaware of what was going on with Debbie. They showed several Survivors drinking from water bottles. It looks like they decided to give everyone water, probably to pour over themselves as well as to drink. It looks like everyone was suffering to some degree, although we only saw three receive medical attention.
I think Peter didn't help with Debbie because he was too exhausted himself to notice.
^ what he said. I was pretty sure Peter was as affected as any of them. That tribe worked hardest and finished well ahead of the other teams. Any one of them could have come to the point of needing help.
That Justin was able to help his team member only shows he wasn't busing his ass in the challenge.
The Super Idol looks like a powerful thing, but it requires at least two people with idols to work together. Right now it means that either Jason or Tai would have to give up their idol for the other. Certainly people have shared idols before, but I don't see Tai and Jason in an alliance. Who knows how this might turn out.
Then there's another twist with the tribe swap tonight. I can't image what that is.

I'm thinking there's a third idol that fits either of those two idols. Since only those two know the power it'll be a race to find it. Maybe after the tribe swap? Just a guess.
The two idols they showed looked like they would fit together like Yin and Yang with little tabs. There would still be a third one at the Brains camp. If they're divided into two new tribes, it'll make a difference if the Brain camp is one of the two they keep. Tai, Jason, Scot, and Cidney would all know what to look for if they wound up in that camp.
Ugh, I was annoyed as hell that dogface (Neil) found the other idol. It's bad enough that jerkoff Jason has one, and now Tai told Scott about his...no, just no!
Interesting episode last night. I really enjoyed seeing the strategic game play and even if the super idol never comes into play, Scot knowing about it and being the only person to know two people that have an idol almost made it worthwhile. It really helped form his decision. Honestly, without knowing about the super idol's powers and/or not knowing about Jason having an idol, Scot probably would have let Tai play his idol to send Peter home. Tai is in a pretty powerful position now because Scot will want to keep him around and bring him back to Jason and Cydney. Scot impressed me in last night's episode more than he has all season.
It was also interesting that losing so much in the beginning ended up helping Brawn. Less people often means a tighter group, people less likely to flip. I did find it interesting, though, that the two beauties and the two brains came to Jason and Cydney to work out a deal. The Brawn tribe seems to be sitting pretty right now.
What do you think, should Scot's tribe throw the challenge next week to get rid of Julia? I hate throwing challenges but it almost makes sense. You know the merge is coming soon. With 12 people left, you have to figure you only have 1 more tribal council, if that, to get rid of someone before the merge. If you do that, suddenly beauty is down to just 3 members. It does leave 5 brains but many of them seem willing to turn on Peter. And Debbie seems like the type that could go rogue, especially if she really hits it off with Cydney.
I do kind of wish we had seen more of Julia's time by herself. Apparently she's just that boring. I really had no idea who she even was until last night's episode. Then we just see her kind of mope and lay in the shelter. Seemingly give up on starting fire quickly and lay down again. You're all alone and we still barely see you. Doesn't look good for her chances to go much further.
Finally, am I the only person who got flashbacks to a couple weeks ago the way Peter was acting at Tribal? He seemed to be getting very confident again. He said "I'm not concerned because I'm in a position of power." I wanted Probst to just be like, "Peter, I feel like you just said that 2 tribals ago and your closest ally was voted out!" But I suppose that would be Probst injecting information into the game that the others don't know.
Probst says next week's Tribal Council is yet another Survivor first! (or at least he says he can't remember it ever happening). What could it be?? The end of episode preview gave no hints.
