I cracked up at that old lady slave owner who was recruiting new stallions to her bedroom!

Yes I like this new show too as well I will watch the whole thing cause it has some pretty outstanding people in it . I was shocked to see Christopher meloni aka Elliot stabler from law and order suv and also surviving jack which went away really quick but I liked it .

After seeing the first episode, I'm impressed.

I couldn't help but be reminded of my teaching job in suburban Maryland just inside the Washington Beltway in a majority Black school. Early on the morning after the first episode of "Roots" the principal summoned all the teachers to a meeting at 6 a.m.! She warned us that the brutal images in "Roots" could lead to worrisome student agitation. It didn't, much to everyone's surprise.

I think the images in the first episode of "Underground" are more brutal and quite realistic.

I applaud shows like this. Even as we so often celebrate our accomplishments, America needs to never forget a not so golden past at some points in our history.

a really awesome show, but some episodes make me uncomfortable because the folks endured so much pain.

Yes, there are scenes that are tough to watch...for example, the one I watched last night where it focused on the kids.

This is a very well done series.
