I didn't see Rick biting that rapist biker's neck as "jumping the shark" in any way, shape or form. It showed how a decent human being can be pushed too far and respond with ANY form of defense. Especially for their child. I LIKED that scene. Best one in my book so far. A book full of great moments IMO.

That scene was awesome. It reminded me of Breaking Bad when Walt killed Fring by bombing the nursing home.
