Other than a few shows, I find it impossible to remember all the shows, the channel, and times. It was so much simpler when we only had the 3 networks and PBS. I do not want to use another app. to keep track of this, if there is one.

So i try with On Demand feature in Verizon cable. Problem is I don't know which show to search for so I fall on reliable like Comedy Central or Night Manager or something that flashes in memory. we have Netflix but there two the search function is not that great so I end up watching a movie I had never heard which is so average and probably why I never heard of it.

How do YOU watch TV and what are your favorites and importantly how do you keep track and how do you catch up?
What new shows onbasic cable are you waiting for to watch?

I made an Excel sheet on the computer that tells me what is on each day of the week (shows that I like). I add and subtract shows all the time.

It's easy to do. I also have the channel listed because I often cannot remember which channels the shows
are on.

Great question. I'm sure we're all different, depending on our degree of TV fanaticism.

The primary way I keep track, is any show I watch, I set a Season Pass on my TiVo. That way it records all new episodes. Then I watch them. Then I delete them. Any show still on the TiVo means I haven't watched it yet.

I'm the consummate channel surfer, i'll watch a show till the 10-15 minute run of commercials start then i'll switch to a channel that isnt running commercials, once in a while i'll actually get back to the show i was originally watching but not often, if theres a show on i really want to watch i'll record it and watch it later with much use of the FF button. This method of tv watching doesnt bother the rest of the family as they get all their video entertainment commercial free on their laptops.

Our DVR is set to record all the shows we like. And it is set to continue each Season when they return.

We don't watch any shows live. Right now we have Hawaii 5-0 taping & Blue Bloods will be next. We will watch those shows tomorrow. I taped Adele's special before & will listen to it one day week while cooking dinner. We don't watch any commercials.
