One team made it to the first challenge in first place and stayed there. They didn't appear to make any mistakes that would give the other teams a chance to catch up. Additionally the other teams stumbled, giving them no chance to catch up.

First my most despised contestant wins Survivor, then my most despised team wins TAR. So bummed. I absolutely hated the sound of Brooke's voice. She was so horrible to her partner, Scott. What a lousy example when the whiniest, witchiest, screaming, mean, partner-abusing, cry baby wins. Save
I was glad to see them win. They not only beat the race ahead of the others, but they had to overcome their differences. The other two teams were kind of "blah" to watch. I was rooting for Team Fun through most of the race.
Bummer, the most obnoxious team had to win. Oh well, next year...
*sigh* . But I did enjoy the season. It felt so good having the show back.
I just saw an announcement for an open casting call for TAR in Denver next week. Hopefuls are supposed to bring their teammates, so hopefully, the stranger thing was a one-off.

Awesome! I would love to do this with my daughter. Sadly she isn't old enough.
I'm happy with the winning outcome.
This team was the most entertaining to watch....even as annoying as they could be sometimes. lol
Good Show.
