Watched this on a binge yesterday while it rained outside. Once I made it past the first episode, I liked it.

Ryder has always been hit or miss. To see her at her worst, check out Heathers (Lick it up, baby. Lick. It. Up.). She's come a long way but her presence is always really forced and unnatural. I thought she was OK in Stranger Things.

I wonder where 011 came from. Are there 10 others that came before her, and, if so, where are they? Did I miss something about that?

Agreed, the synth music was really good!

My wife and I just started watching it last week. We are hooked ! Just finished episode 4 last night. How can this series go wrong ?! When was the last time one heard Joy Division, Peter Gabriel, and the Clash in a TV series ! This show reminds me of a mash up of Steven King, Dean Koontz and ET.

I don't think anything was mentioned, but if I were to speculate there may have been a previous ten "experiments" who didn't make it, and she's their success story.

I watched it. I was intrigued. But I'll not watch the next one, just let it go.

The cool thing is, this show actually has the feel and look to me of an actual '80's movie. I mean, I truly feel transported back when I watch this.

Agreed. Seriously, I've never been so nostalgic in my entire life. Watching this show felt like looking through a window of myself as a kid in the 80s.

OK, I'm 2 episodes in and not quite feeling the love for this. I'm just not connecting the dots here. Does the plot get any better going forward? I should mention I have the attention span of a circus monkey.

You sound like me when I watched this season. I finished it, but I will not watch the second season.
