That poor bstard, Jon...he looks so miserable...like how did my life ever end up this way? The focus on that pack of kids is what keeps them both together...they don't even have time to think about themselves or work on their marriage. When the last kid leaves the nest...they'll be looking at each other and say..."and who are you, again?"
I love it. Kate is my favorite television celebrity :P I don't think she's rude at all- I know I'm just about as type A as she is and if I was out and about with 8 kids, I be a nervous wreck and yelling at my husband too. It's not a conscious thing- can you imagine what is going through her mind every time she takes her kids out? Jon's kind of a dope, in a good way, but he often is much too laid back and whiney for the household IMO. They work well together because they balance each other out, even if there is some tension at times.
Honestly, I think I would have a nervous breakdown trying to take 8 kids out anywhere. LOL
I will say that I'm constantly amazed at how organized she is with all the lists and labels. I would love to be so organized.
I'm reading this and wondering if I've been watching the same show I love the show, have no criticisms of Jon or Kate, and frankly, would like to see any of us here do their job and come off any better. I think they're very brave to expose their family dynamics this way. They obviously love each other and take parenting very seriously. Good for them!
Well I have to admit, I'm very single and younger. Maybe my opinion on a marriage of this caliber (or any caliber) may not have been be valid in this case.

Of course there was something else on last night that we chose to watch instead of the new episode (better chance to catch Jon & Kate then what we watched)
I did flip during commercials and saw that they did address this. They said that although they may say something that the camera catches, they don't show them saying sorry to each other and said they always do once they realize what they said or destress a little. Something to that effect
I've been watching and I can't seem to stop. I'm single and do not, DO NOT, want kids. I've felt this way for many years. I'm amazed at how they make things work. I also feel that Kate talks down to Jon sometimes. In one episode, Kate didn't like Jon's short fuse when he put a kid in timeout. She disagreed with him in front of the kids. Not a good idea when it comes to discipline.
I was also surprised that Jon picks out Kate's clothes. I found that strange. But if it works for them, so be it.
