This about sums it up for me.
It's funny, every season as far back as I can remember, there are always folks that say "worst season ever!" I've personally never said that before...until now.
Maybe not THEE worst season ever, but BB19 is one of the worst seasons in recent history. Like, I'd feel comfortable saying it was the worst season of the last 6-7 years. I'm kinda glad it's over.
Let's hope CBS goes "back to basics" for BB20 and does away with all the twists and gimmicks that allow America's influence on the game. I doubt it, though. And for the big 2-0, I would REALLY like it if they switched up the house! I'm talking tear entirely down and rebuild a new one.
Well folks, here's to hoping CBB is worth watching. If not, see you fine people next summer.

Don't count on CBS doing anything that would require spending money on this show or putting in anything other than the bare minimal effort.
The reason this gets renewed every year is that it is incredibly cheap to produce.
They announced the votes in order of most recently evicted to first evicted...that's why Cody was last and Christmas was first.
Alex made it very clear who she was voting for when putting her key in the box "I'm voting for the person who stabbed me in the front instead of in the back". Cody's "I'm going to keep my promise" was a little more cryptic. A pretty big surprise that he voted for Josh IMO as he at least acknowledged respect for Paul as the alpha.
They didn't plan to make it as suspenseful as it was with the votes...that was actually one thing that happened naturally.
Rumor is there was a jury pact and that comment from Cody was directed at Mark.
I haven't commented much on this thread, but I'm glad the season is over. I'm sick of the bullying tactics used on BB18, 19 and BB:OTT. I do think that the recent trend of using bullying as a tactics is directly related to too many young players in the game.
I do hope that in future seasons the cast can be more diverse (and I don't mean the "token" members of each stereotype that you can think of that they're already doing)
A friend in the cinema business confirmed that for me some time back. They're all incredibly cheap to produce, and that's why Hollywood likes them.
I have a cousin, who lives in LA, and has been working in reality TV since 2000, starting off as a PA and working his way up to director/supervising producer and yes, these shows are a fraction of what a sitcom costs to produce. He hasn't worked on BB, Survivor, or Amazing Race, but since he is freelance, he goes from project to project and has worked for Bunim/Murray Productions the most.
I do wish that folks wouldn't say so and so didn't deserve the win because they had money, their parents had money or some other variation which then would indicate they don't deserve the money they played for. EVERYONE could use more money - it's not a matter of who's the poorest should win any more than who didn't hurt everyone's feelings.
