So if I have this right-the "redneck" not-very-bright right wing militia was smart enough to get dozens of bombs through Capitol security and plant them. One young FBI agent is pretty much leading the charge on investigating the boldest murder/"coup" plot in history and has no security on her? Said militia captures her and loses her? VP takedown is left to one agent...and no SS to take down his assassin, who is out in the open pulling a gun on him? Etc, etc.
Huhn? You are talking last season now? Yes, you have it right.

Yeah, I binged watched and got caught up. I really like the character Southerland plays (liberal tendencies and all)...but I hope the writing and storyline improve.

tried to watch but I lost interest

the show was watchable when you had active conspiracies and whatnot going on but it just turned into a stupid smallvile "freak of the week" type one-off episode where the president is portrayed as the greatest man on earth

it's not entertaining at all... so used to action like on 24 and this show is booooooooring

I don't even know if it still comes on but I just wanted to come back and chime in because last time I said I was gonna keep watching

The 2nd season so far has been a disappointment. Every week is a non-interesting mini political drama. I liked the president last season as he was learning on the job, but now he is super confident. Still like Maggie Q but the mysteries she investigates aren't always that interesting. Thought it was weird last night that she shot Damien and didn't report it? Just went for a drink.

Miss the political thriller aspect.

I keep forgetting it's on and have only seen a few episodes of season 2. It was shocking that they killed off his wife in the last episode but I have say I won't miss her. I basically watch the show because of Keifer Sutherland but even that's beginning to wane. Seems like the show is all over the place this year and he has less face time than many of the ancillary figures. I do like the new political director but the rest of the cast is only so so.

I have found the writing in this season to be ridiculous.

Spoiler
Natasha McElhone (Alex Kirkman) is leaving the show, so I guess she's really dead.

Yeah, you know you're running out of story ideas when you off the First Lady in Season 2.

This was the final straw for me. No backup team, no search for the body and it was totally predictable. I told my wife exactly what was going to happen as soon as the bridge scene started ( the shooting; bullet proof vest, falling into the river, not finding body). This could have been a great show but the ridiculous scenarios ruin it. I like the White House stories and staff interaction but the implausible FBI stories are insulting to the viewers.

Have you been watching the news lately? The only difference is, in real life it is the people in charge that are creating the implausible stories.
