I can't remember if they aired the first episode or not, but the spinoff never got off the ground.
I only watched that episode once. I refuse to ever see it again. What a dreadful idea.

I'm going to start watching season 10 soon. The show used to be so good.

Interesting concept but with everything the Winchesters have done during the entire run of Supernatural (saving humanity, the universe etc.) is there room for a spin-off? What plot lines could be pursued?

If this spinoff fails- they should do a prequel series- a period piece in the 19th century focused on one of Sam and Dean's ancestors who hunts monsters with nothing but a six shooter, his horse and pure determination.

There would be a lot of room to explore the mythology of the Supernatural universe and maybe even see some of the long-lived creatures Sam and Dean later hunted.

Well I hope you like it.

Personally, I liked season 10. Some of season 11 was pretty good - I didn't like the 'big bad' of that season but no spoilers about it from me. Season 12 was pretty bad, imho.

The big question I want answered is this: when & why did the US MOL break off from the BMOL? Considering the US was originally a British colony, I think they could pick any date in the last 300+ years to start telling that story.
