American renditions of English monarchy are full of things that royals would never do. Like slapping ANYONE. There is very little that resembles the true royals. Etiquette and decorum is a way of life for them and even the general English populace.

The worst is the fake English accent.

Have you actually watched The Crown? It's produced by Netflix, but most if not all of the people involved are British. I think the only Americans involved actor-wise, were John Lithgow as Churchill and Michael C. Hall as Kennedy.

If a performer is from England I think calling an accent 'fake English" is little overdone
Inaccurate might be better--

And it was written by an Englishman
It is a very British production
And if you were not there, then I don't know if you can say with such authority what they would or would not do

can't WAIT for season 3.......


I have not read through the entirety of this thread, but am I the only one who sees a marked resemblance between Matt Smith and adult Prince Harry??
