We are finally getting the biopic for one of the best groups of all time. Definitely Top 3 of the R&B realm.

We finally get to see the origin story of Bobby Brown, Bell Biv Devoe and Johnny Gill. This series should be a good one.

I have been a New Edition fan for almost my whole life. I can't wait until this movie comes on.

Higher than normal, perhaps. I think "huge ratings" is a stretch.

If it's a hit expect there to be a Boys II Men biopic to follow. That's definitely one I'd watch.

So glad it's not Lifetime airing it. Their biopics have been a mess.

Do they have some dramatic story beyond gathering together and singing hit songs that I am aware of?

You are trolling right? It's not many black people that participate on city data, this is true. New Edition still has a big fan base that will tune in, but yea I think you are trolling so carry on lol.

Well from 1978-2005 a lot has gone on with these guys. Sleeping with each other's girlfriends, their white handlers stealing their money and forcing them to be pop stars instead of the urban R&B they wanted to make, Bobby Brown being regulated to the background for being dark skinned and eventually rebelling and being kicked out, the Johnny Gill gay rumors and Johnny Gill being brought in to replace the original lead singer Ralph Tresvant, by the members that eventually became Bell Biv Devoe. Yea I'm sure not a lot of people will want to watch this story. Sounds pretty boring to me huge waste of money on BET's part.

I meant the wish for a Boys II Men movie.

No, I'm not trolling. It's my honest opinion. I think they will see higher ratings than usual for the network. But no, I don't think they will see "huge ratings." It has absolutely nothing to do with how many black people participate on CD.
