So, Jill dumped $16k back into the economy and all she got was a handbag!
Whose economy?

I'm sure they've donated much more than $16k to Allie's charity (and other charities.)

I was almost embarrassed for her, she sounded so ridiculous and delusional saying that. It's great to be proud of your looks, brain, or business sense, but a confident person lets those things speak for themselves.

Please no talk of socialism here, there's more than enough of that in the Politics and controversy section, so few people have even a clue what socialism really is.

Spending that kind of money to make some designer even more rich has always annoyed me too. IMO a truly responsible person would want to know if that designer has a living wage for ALL of the people who make the bag, does the designer give to charity, etc. If people thought less about trends and more about where they put their money, we'd have a better world.

Sorry all, this is way too heavy for the RHNY thread.

I was just kidding too, I knew you were joking around. This show is best when it's about fun, not serious issues.

I agree, I saw this by mistake last night. She sound like she never grew up, she is always referring to her teenaged years, and she talks like a teenager. When she said " People say oh I do this and do that, I would rather just do something nice instead of talk about it all the time". I wish they had slap-o-vision so that I could slap the snot out of her. She is so incredibly annoying. Plus, the clothes she was giving away were hideous. And if I hear her say "people ask me to wear their clothes one more time.......

Did anyone catch Ramona on HSN? She looked really good. Her jewelry looked really nice. I'm not a jewelry kinda fella, but it seems like a real bargain. She was hard to recognize at first as she had bangs.
