Ramona must have a really good therapist. Her comments about everyone's behavior are very perceptive. I think back to her comment last year that Jill likes the underdog. So true. Ramona has pretty much everything that Jill has and it's all probably better: husband (and first husband at that!), daughter (more physically attractive, which is so important to these people), business-owning husband plus Ramona's very own successful business, city and Hamptons homes, both of which may be better than Jill's... get my drift? Jill and Ramona are always in competition. Jill puts Ramona down for not spending/being able to spend as much on clothes as Jill; Ramona recounts that Saks believes Jill returns clothing to Saks after she has worn the item. Jill goes nuts when Ramona gets a better seat at a fashion show than does Jill. And so on. Whereas when Bethenny had none of these things and was struggling to climb the ladder, it was easy for Jill to love B; now that B has a very attractive husband, cute baby, successful business ventures and, to top it all off, her OWN reality show - she's becoming too threatening to Jill's self image as the one who has the most. Note the accusations that Jill used a fake identity to post negative book reviews of books written by those she was feuding with - that's really beyond the pale. It must make her green with envy that B's book made the best seller list and hers didn't. Jill only wants to rekindle the friendship to hop on for B's ride now that it has taken off in a big way and Jill is not having anywhere near the same impact. B can clearly see through that. I foresee the same sort of falling out taking place when currently needy LuAnn meets her next husband, particularly if he comes from the Euro social scene she used to hang out with. Jill will turn on her too when LuAnn stops including Jill in every aspect of her life that Jill thinks she deserves to be a part of. I'm sure that if LuAnn's book and song had been hugely successful her friendship with Jill would not have been the same.
Jill's true colors have been revealed and she will never be able to completely cover them up again.

Hey everyone, I need some help filling in some facts. I didn't watch the first season so maybe those of you who did can help me out. Did ANY of these women know each other when the show began? I mean other than knowing of each other and being in the same circle, so to speak? I ask because it plays a part in the dynamics. If Bethenny didn't know/ wasn't friends with these women to begin with, it's no wonder that she seems to be fulfilling a contractual obligation to the show and then will be out of there and no longer have to associate with them if she doesn't care to. Same could be said for everyone on the show.
I cannot imagine having a circle of friends where there is constant stress, strife and drama. I think nothing showed the truth of what it's really like than Alex's face when Jill showed up unexpectedly. She genuinely looked like she was about to break at the thought of having Jill come and shatter the peace achieved with Kelly's departure.
Every time I watch this show, I pause and am thankful for my friends, for they truly are friends, not frenemies as these women seem to be to varying degrees.

who gave jill the right to announce anything? this lady.... I guess she's trying to make it seem as if they are on good terms and she is in the "know" of Bethenny's life.

1. that's subjective. I think ally is beautiful
2. I never heard of jill fake IDing lol. if this is true then shame on her
3. totally agree. what a freeloader
4. yea. i think her remorse is mainly damage control. she just wants to be loved by everyone again, like how she was a favorite in season 1&2.

Jill knew Luanne and ramona for 8+ years, and bethenny for only 3 years (correct me if wrong). Bethenny didnt know anyone (besides Jill), Alex knew no one, Luann knew Sonja for a long time, Ramona and sonja go back 20 years, jill met jen this season, and luann knew kelly. so yes, there were some "friendship" established before the show.

what I first heard is that she was on Amazon giving her own book rave reviews, using a fake name. Andy Cohen mentioned it on Watch What Happens. One of his guest that night said it's done all the time. Whatevah! I think it's shady. Although I did look through her book one day while in Barnes & Noble and I thought it was ridiculous. I can see why she might have to resort to such. The thing is IF someone does buy it there is a pretty good chance they are going to go on the record as saying it is plain out stupid.

Thanks! I'd like to know how close they were or were they just acquaintances that mostly just knew OF each other, rather than being actual friends. Or perhaps, as the show would indicate, none of actually know what friendship means!
