did anyone watch the new series? they did well with a $20k budget, but that kitchen/dining room was horrible! let's put the largest furniture we could find into the dining room & hope that no one notices there isn't any room to walk around the table.....
The whole staged house was very cluttered. It made it feel smaller than it really was.
It will be interesting to watch them since their rehab budget will be a lot tighter.
I can't believe I'd ever say this, but the Vegas blonde was more monotone and more annoying than Christina. She's even worse. At least Christina exhibited a sense of humor from time to time to break up the her Valley Girl monotony, but this Vegas woman is a lifeless wax figure.
And I hated the house. Finished, it was packed so full of decorating crap I couldn't tell what the house looked like. The kitchen sucked, with a huge oversized 'island' that left no room to even walk by it without turning sideways. Awful.
I rate these people and this show, as FAIL. One episode may be all I ever watch.
I watched 10 minutes of the first episode and became nostalgic for the wit, wisdom and sophisticated taste of Christina and Tarek ... I doubt I'll be tuning in to that show again.

We won't watch it again. Poor design, and lack of personality for the starring couple. We were not impressed by the designs on (Scott and Amy) Flipping Las Vegas either, but watching them bicker, and not liking either of them made it interesting. We hoped they would lose money.
