Perhaps not the "best" but certainly distinguished by by its pioneering creativity, Michael Nesmith's Rio charted in the late 70's and the video made soon after. This was before there were "music videos". I remember seeing this on our newly available cable TV (with 30 channels!!) and being blown away. Nesmith (formerly of the Monkees) created Pop Clips for the Nickelodeon cable network. The show was sold and eventually became MTV. Rio was made for the show. It holds up well after 30 years
