I had a feeling Manuel would be leaving this week.......his cooking did not stand out to me at all. I missed the first half but I am sure I will catch a rerun. Yay........Mr. New Zealand survived another week......the dish that he and the other guy created for the judges looked really good for the Christmas Story theme.

What was up with team water serving fish with scales?!?!?!!?! If there was every a elimination challenge to not mess up on........this was it! Could you imagine serving all of those guests with fish that was not properly prepared!!!! EEEK! I was not real impressed with the quality of food that was created this week...even though I could not taste....some of the dishes did not look good at all. I think it was Zoi's time to go though....even over Spike. Her last couple of dishes were not well received at all. At least Spike mentioned to do a butternut squash soup and the guest judge thought that would have been a much better idea for the earth dish. He should have pushed harder ont he other two to do a soup.
I can't believe that Amy from the winning team got the free trip for two to Italy! All she did was make the bacon and she complained the whole time about the other two chef's ideas for the fire dish! I think that the Dale should have won the trip.

I was really disappointed w/ whatshisname for not scaling the fish better. I thought he was better than that.
I also don't blame Dale for being mad - she didn't deserve that trip!

But the judge felt that the taste of the bacon, and the way it was cooked enhanced the dish more than anything else. I don't blame Dale for being mad, because she was such a bi*** about everything, but the fact remains that his contribution to the dish did not wow the judge deciding who would win the trip.

Agreed. I hate it when people whine about deserving it more than others. Get over yourself already!

That is what my wife and I called him too when we couldn't think of his name early on. That and "skinny rooster".
