I remember some of the last episodes when Earl is tired of Karma and does whatever he wants with his friends. Those were the most hilarious for me because I was expecting to see the mad Earl as well. I will search them.

My favorite was s01e16 - The Professor
Where he returns a collage professor's stolen laptop, and it turns out ...
Spoiler
she's not only a babe, but they like each other. But karma's not only a b*tch, she's a jealous b*tch, and fights back with bees and Frisbees and such.

Wow.. That crossed my mind as one of the worst episodes.. Not as bad as some of the jail and coma episodes.. But one of the worst of the 'standard' Earl episodes.

Oh.. the Y2K episode is one of the best, too.. Forgot about that one. Most of the first season is the best.. second is OK.. Third is.. Pretty bad. There's some good ones in there.. Season 4 was something of a return to basics.. Some real good ones there.. Sweet Johnny, Sold a Guy A Lemon Car and.. Honestly, one of the 'sweet' stories that I really like is "Joy in a Bubble".. And.. Betty White guest starring in "Witch Lady"

Darnell: "Hey, Earl."

Earl: "Don't they have special bars for the queers - I'm sorry, homosexual Americans?"

Catalina: "I will jump for you, Earl, but I will not jump for Joy."

Catalina: "This is the sweetest, most justified kidnapping I've ever seen."
Randy: "How many have you seen?"
Catalina: "About five or so."

Glenn: "I'm gonna rip off your ears and shove 'em up your butt so you can hear me kickin' your ass!"

Joy: " You're suppose to say UNO, it's a mexican card game"

The Cops episodes were great. Another one of my favorites is the one with the newscaster who was relegated to the early morning news because of something Earl and Randy had done to her and they try to help her get a prime time news slot.

I haven't seen many shows but I feel this one is sometimes really realistic. Despite not hilarious, I do enjoy those scenes about Earl and Randy in their childhood, especially involving his dad, this guy is amazing as actor. One of my favourite episodes is "Got the Babysitter Pregnant". Firstly, is very strange that I say this in public but once in my life... this girl is trully beautiful! Her future son made me laugh over and over, what a useless guy! Another episodes I enjoyed a lot are the first and second of Earl in prison. Sonny and Ralph, those guys as secondary actors are amazing! I like the realism in this TV show, we are always watching TV shows about rich and successful people, what about people like Earl and Randy? I mean, there should be a lot of people like them. It's a shame that there are not similar TV shows out there...

I have read in a spanish forum that Malcolm uses a similar humour that My name is Earl. I only watched a couple of episodes while doing zapping on TV several years ago.
