Some new information has surfaced on Amelia and has been reported in the 7-31 edition of People's Magazine. The photo promoted by History Channel supposedly showing that Amelia and her navigator survived the final flight has been debunked.

A Japanese researcher investigated the photo and has come up with some interesting facts. The researcher, Kota Yamano, was able to trace the photo back to the original source. The photo first appeared in a 1935 Japanese travel book, two years prior to the Amelia's flight. The mystery goes on.

That's not new info, but the fact is the debunking hasn't been verified. There is also more than enough evidence, even without the photo, to prove the story true.

Yes, there's the woman who as a child had washed the sheets. She described Erhart perfectly. Either someone else had landed in Japanese territory who looked like her, or she had ended up in that prison. It doesn't mean that her route there was exactly as the available evidence suggests. And that the area where the bodies were buried had been dug up and the bones vanished? By US service people? They had to have had a reason. And that was before the time of dna testing. So, where did the bones go?

As time goes on and things which vanished return, what new will be confirmed? And why is this secret so important that it still has to hide in the dark?

I think the dock picture has some telling evidence that it might depict exactly what Les Kinney was saying. Isn't that object in front of the person claimed to be Fred- Amelia's suitcase (designs)?
