Gosh, I'm glad I'm me...I'm so easily entertained by gorgeous men...
or minimally cute with romantic hearts...Better than the hundred bloody crime shows!

If they would guarantee it's a mini-series, I might watch. But they won't of course. So if it's bad, it dies, if it's even a moderate success, they add another season, which makes a decent story get stretched out too long. And then when they DO cancel it, we're often left with unresolved issues.

Under The Dome, Extant, Zoo and more. All stretched out beyond good writing, and often beyond the story it's based on.

I've learned, no more CBS summer series.

Too much fake drama, guy falls in love with a girl he just met AND he just discovered a planet killer asteroid, govt big-shot having affair with underling, yada yada.

Here's the hardest part for me to swallow about many of these apocalypse shows, and the reason so few are fun to watch: The end of the world is coming, and they manage to keep the secret among a handful of people. No one leaks.

Yeah right.
One and done for me, too. I didn't like it for the reasons mentioned, and I didn't like any of the actors.

I just watched this and liked it enough to tune in for the next episode. I like Jennifer Finnigan in anything, and new-to-me Charlie Rowe is interesting.

After watching the second episode probably one of the worst shows on tv. I'm rooting for the asteroid.

I'm rooting for the asteroid too; however, after three episodes; I'm done.
First, Jennifer Finnigan is terrible and that is being nice. She is terrible in Tyrant, she is ever more terrible in this stupid series.
Second, it is just stupid. Her statement last night about we just condemned one billion people to death was ludicrous. Too much of half full/half empty BS. If the world population is approx. 7.5 billion and you just condemned 1.5 billion to death, you have actually saved 6 billion people. Cause of where they will die is not the fault of the US, it is just a roll of the dice. How stupid can a statement be.
Hopefully, the asteroid will come quickly but with a .7 rating in the second week, it does not appear the asteroid will make it before it is cancelled.
