I've been watching since day 1 and really wanted my husband to join me but he wasn't interested.

Then season 6 happened and he kept getting sucked into and loved the ending, so I told him LOOK you have to watch the entire show. So we start this summer with Season 1 and it's a count down to finish it by this Sunday! We have 5 episodes left so I'm pretty sure we'll be done it time. If not, I'm secretly going to watch it and he can catch up. HAHA.

I love the this show feels like family.
Me, too!

Although I've watched GOT from the very beginning, earlier this summer I started back from Season 1, Episode 1. It's amazing how many clues and insight you get from the very beginning that make more sense now that some of the events have happened or are happening.

It looks like everyone will be in Westeros this season, and all the actors have said that this season will be extremely accelerated....more like a thriller than previous seasons, with events happening at breakneck speed. We'll see. I can't wait for Dany to have it out with Cercei.

I just wasn't interested in boobs&dragons fantasies, so I didn't watch any of Season 1. Then I was home sick with laryngitis or something during Season 2, and I watched a couple of episodes. Oh boy! That lead to binge-watching of Season 1, and a GoT fan was born!
Enjoy the show tonight!

I rewatched the last 3 episodes of the last season yeaterday. I think Bran is going to tell everyone who Jon's parents are.

I'm excited but also kind of dreading it, as I fear things will not go very well for the sympathetic characters and at least one of my favorites will die this season. We shall see...

At least is the key phrase here. I fear death shall run rampant. And in war, the good are as easily killed as the bad.

Nonetheless... CAN'T WAIT. It's been over a year since we've had a new GoT episode to drool over.

Can you imagine how we'll feel next year, when we're waiting for the FINAL season to start!

Am watching The Battle of the Bastards. Damned Rickon still hasn't learned to zig zag when running away from a crazy guy shooting arrows at him.

And Jon Snow still hasn't learned to not charge.

This struck me as insanely funny. Littlefinger isn't "trying" to "start" anything. He's just repositioning his already-in-play game pieces in response to these new developments.
