I read all the books and like them. However there are few movies or TV series based on SK books that I have liked. That being said, I will seek out the series and hope for the best.

A series, not a movie, is the way to handle book series like Mr. Mercedes. I am looking forward to "The Dark Tower" movie but feel it should have been presented as a long series. No way are they going to capture the essence of the 7 Gun Slinger books in one movie.

I loved it and am hoping it remains commercial free.

Reminded me of Mr. Robot, but it not as good. The incestuous implication made me very uncomfortable

Then you haven't read the book. It's WAY more than an implication. Personally I was glad they kept that aspect in the storyline; I was afraid the producers might "shy away" from such a controversial and icky aspect of the first book. However, it appears the Stephen King is an executive producer - yay!

DirecTV (AT&T) has two "Audience" channels available 71 and 239. We watched it and it is an AT&T Original Series. I guess AT&T is going the way of Netflix and Amazon with the original productions.

Good episode this week, justice was served on the redneck and Mary-Louise Parker is still in the cast.

She should have a couple of episodes left, if they follow the book's timeline pretty closely.
