Just started Westworld last night. The Ed Harris character reminded me of the Yul Brynner character from the original movie. I guess the timeline is a little long for the 30 years mentioned, since the last time something happened to the programming, for that to be from the movie.

I am so confused after watching Episode 4 and the different timelines! It seems there is one timeline before the rescuers showed up . . .

What's up with Bernard and Abernathy?

Okay, I think this season is finally starting to make more sense to me. Good episode.

Yes i was watching and thinking that it's getting monotonous and they threw in a new plot line.

It's not so much a new plot line, as we can now see what the "true purpose" of the park was. It's all coming together, in a very interesting way.

Monotonous wouldn't have been the word I used. But it's clearly not everyone's cup of tea.

True purpoise of the park has 3 different variations so far it depends on point of view, original Bernard, Fords, or Williams

The best part of S2E4 was the vinyl record and The Stones "Don't play with me cause your playing with fire". An almost forgotten favorite of mine.

Too many narratives and plot lines going on.
I could totally skip William's present story line -- too boring -- I liked his story in the beginning, but not not as the older man in black playing outlaws and cowboy.

I agree about too many plot lines and, also, characters to keep track of. I hate when that happens in books. For example: "The Wheel of Time" book series. It started out great and I kept reading until about the 7th book when I gave up. Again too many characters and plot lines.

I don't know that there are any more plot lines than Season 1. We have four protagonists: William, Delores, Maeve, and Bernard. Everyone else is a player in one of their quests.
