Yeah, I agree to a point, but it leaned more dramatic than MASH did, I think. At least, what I remember of it.. I haven't seen it in 30+ years.

I seem to recall Potter talking someone out of suicide, and while that's a storyline that certainly could have (and probably was) done on MASH.. I always thought those stories were more the focus whereas the comedy was more of a focus on MASH.. Though.. Towards the later seasons, that wasn't necessarily true.

It didn't get the ratings but wasn't a bad show - not like Kelsey Grammar's stinker Hank.

Rosalind Chao played Klinger's wife. For those who don't know, her parents owned, & she worked at, the Chinese/pancake restaurant on Harbor across from Disneyland.

She was also Keiko O'Brien in Star Trek TNG and DS9.

Then she went on to star in "After After M*A*S*H" which followed the adventures of Soon-Lee and Mildred Potter once they were divorced from Klinger and the Colonel.

Klinger with the dress wasn't funny. The character was one joke told over and over and over again.

The joke was of all the people in the 4077th Sergeant Klinger was the only one who got promoted
