For many years I have tried to find this cowboy film/programme, because I loved it when I watched it. It's old because I must have watched it in the 1970s.

The plot was: boy witnesses his family being murdered by a posse of bad cowboys. The boy wants revenge and tries to learn to handle a gun. He bumps into an elderly gunslinger who is dying. He shows the boy how to use a gun. The old man dies and gives the boy his gun, it's a special one because it fires one extra bullet which the baddies don't know!

He searches for the baddies one by one, this is achieved through 'flashback' scenes.

That's all I can remember, and I would love to find the film to watch again.

Can anybody help.
