I want to plug a TV show that we love: States of Undress on Viceland network. The shows are about a model (Hailey Gates) who visits various countries around the world for local fashion shows. Very little of the show is actually about the fashion show but we learn more about the countries she visits than on any of the typical travel or history channel type fare.

If you were watching it for the "fashion aspects" of it I can understand you're losing interest. It is the background of the local country/economy that holds our interest.

Departures on Netflix is a good travel show to watch. Two Canadian guys traveling the world. It's a great binge watch.
