Saw the first two episodes last night--really promising and engaging. Not at all like the movie, although they still have to give some attribution to the late Elmore Leonard for his original story.

Ray Romano is a producer of low-budget films who is down on his luck, and Chris O'Dowd is a crime lord's enforcer who wants out of the crime business. Worth seeing. Some intense violence a la Breaking Bad, but all over, humorous.

Addendum: I'm not sure why, but this show only seems to appear on 'Epix On Demand.' My search function to record it can't find it.

Three episodes in, solid.

I saw a comment about this show the other day, saying it was just as good as the movie. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but it's definitely on my list.

Well, you may as well remove it from your list. Turns out the first 3 episodes are free, but after that they want $8 a month. I already pay top dollar and have every channel, so I'm not buying in. Too bad, I'll wait until it goes onto Netflix or Amazon Prime.

Show looks great, but I don't get the channel. I'll wait for the DVD release.

TV execs could do a lot worse than mine Elmore Leonard for TV show ideas.
