I cant remember a season when I just didnt care for so many stars. In the past, I've found getting to know the contestants almost as enjoyable as watching their performances. Not this season, though. I've liked Jordan from the start and am getting to like Frankie and Drew. And I'm starting to dislike Terrell less and less. Except for Derek Fisher, I havent cared for any of the stars who've gone home.
I liked Victoria and Lindsey originally, but have disliked both more and more, to the point where I'm ready to see both of them go home anytime. That may surprise some who still like Lindsey, but her particiption in the boo-hoo-I'm-hurt publicity-for-ratings gimmick has lost her all my former respect.
I wonder if this is because the producers havent done their usual great job of showing us the interesting, positive sides of the stars or if most of the stars this season have just been unlikeable.
Lindsey makes me think of a Dr. Seuss character. She is like Cindy Lou Who brought to life. I think it is a combination of the way she wears her hair and her nose.

I haven't decided whether I'm bothered or just annoyed by this (in general, across seasons, not just Lindsey's particular case).
If all these people are truly getting injured doing this, it means they're trying to do stuff that's waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy beyond their capabilities (which is clear anyways, watching the footage and choreography). I'm not a huge fan of that approach - I would rather see well done dances that are slightly challenging, rather than all these poorly done lifts and throws and other moves that are so far beyond the abilities of the contestants. The injury rate on this show is insane - I've been ballroom dancing for over a decade, and I've never been injured doing it, and it's not a frequent occurrence among my fellow dancers. I don't care for the implicit message that ballroom dance is some sort of dangerous extreme-sport activity. That's where my annoyance comes in, because I don't think this message is totally unintentional on the part of the producers, I suspect they like the associated drama.

I assumed it was that tape stuff athletes use. (Think the last few Olympics) They said she had spasms earlier today.
