You mean that Danny Rand's fist is not "Like unto a thing of iron!"? Horrors. (I remember Iron-Fist from the comics quite well; haven't watched the Netflix series since I saw the reviews)
Still, Luke Cage is in it, maybe he can pep up Iron-Fist; they were a great team in the comics.
Just cross your fingers and hope there more of Luke, Jessica and Daredevil than Iron Fist. I don't know about the you guys but I'm hoping Madame Gao and/or Colleen are in this. I didn't see either of them in the trailer. I'm mad we have to wait till August
I didn't like any of the stand alones shows other then DD to be honest. Maybe it's because it was out first.
The other seemed slow & Iron Fist seemed...well lame as someone said above granted the trailer looks great hopefully together they can pull it off.

I had high expectations. I too remember those days of reading Iron Fist and to see it mangled and limping along in a poor excuse of a show was damaging. There's a thread about the show, my opinions were abundant.
Of the series, JJ is my favorite and I enjoyed DD and LC thoroughly - however there exist a blemish, so tainted is he that I find myself in disbelief. To look upon a pretty face and then see a herpes outbreak so wildly infecting in the corners and crevices of the lips is quite unfortunate ... quite. Limp Fist aka Iron Perm aka Suckage ... I just don't know. You'll certainly be disappointed with his acting chops, they are as limp as his fists.

On the plus side, there are a number of trailers that seem to show some of the other Defenders mocking Danny Rand. Also, one of the more recent trailers seems to show Danny / Iron Fist pulling off some cool moves.
My personal issue with this show is a general lack of interest in the Hand as opponents. I have seen enough of those villains already. However, I am hoping that this mysterious new villain played the the fantastic Sigourney Weaver provides some extra interest.
