I'm taping this show and just watched the 1st episode last night and saw 3 of the 5 acts in the above video perform in the 1st episode. The first act in the video, a group of 4 young men (#5 on video) and a young woman (#2 on video) both sang original songs and they were FANTASTIC !!! The 2nd performer, a 15 yr old young lady named Holly (#4 on video) also sang extremely well Alicia Key's song, "If I Ain't Got You" WOW!! She sings like an angel and looks like one too!!

So far, the show is very good, though it can be rather difficult to understand them at times due to their accents, but the talent is definitely worth watching it !!

I love this show. I'm so glad you posted this. I've watched it for several years and have seen some fantastic talent, many of whom we never hear about over here, even if they've won the show. It's a bit different . . . I found it interesting when Sharon Osbourne told a couple of the singers not to be so "Americanized" in their performances (paraphrasing here). I can't adequately explain what she meant - you kind of have to see the performances to understand what she was saying.

I keep the closed captioning on during shows which are known to contain accents. I'm pretty good with accents, until they go too fast, so this helps a lot to keep me from getting lost.

I was never able to watch this show, being that I live in the U.S. and it doesn't air on regular TV but I have Sling TV and there's a channel on there AXS that carries it. I love this show! I am very impressed with Grace Davies. Her song Roots is beautiful. I expect to see more of her in the future.
