I meant to - I like Colbert. I forgot they were on! That is what happens when I only use streaming. I don't see commercials! Probably it is on Hulu now.

What a hateful, disgusting thing to say.

The handmaids tale is miles above anything thats on tv. Beautifully shot, extremely profound and relevant. Sutil, disturbing and poetic. Acting was top notch.

All of it was a masterpiece.

Praise be
Praise be!

Sean Spicer's appearance on the Emmys was a very hush, hush event set up by Stephen Colbert. According to the article, Colbert had him on as a joke on himself. I dunno. I didn't watch the Emmys because the only show I'd seen was This Is Us. I couldn't watch the Handmaid's Tale because I don't have Hulu, but I read the book when it came out about 30 years ago. Margaret Atwood is an amazing woman who writes novels, short stories, poetry, children's books, and so much more. I'd also read Liane Moriarty's Big Little Lies, and while I've liked some of her books, I wasn't enamored with this one. I wonder if the television adaptation was better than the book.

I didn't watch the show either. Was watching The Vietnam War doc instead. But I just saw the Sean Spicer clip. Yeah, that was funny.

He gets his cues from Trump
But Anyways
I personally think the low ratings have to do with poor Advertising. I didn't even know it was on, i just so happen to turn to it by accident.

I don't watch much TV and don't care about the Emmys, so I only knew about it because the actor who I like posted a photo on Instagram all dressed up saying that he was on his way there. So then I decided to tune in.
