It will return in the 10 PM slot on Tuesday after Law & Order: the Menendez Murders ends. Should be November 21.

For those that don't know....

The Good Doctor is shot entirely in and around Vancouver, British Columbia. The city hall of Surrey, is used as the exterior of the fictional hospital. This week 6 different projects ( 4 TV and two motion picture ) are shooting in Vancouver.

In Toronto " Designated Survivor " and "Suits " are both shot at the former Downsview Canadian Forces air base. This week in Toronto there are 7 TV series being shot as well as 4 motion picture projects.

XXX.

More people watched The Good Doctor than The Big Bang Theory this week.

It's not "in the demo," but still.

I almost never watch 1 hour dramas - but I'm watching this one.

It's a matter of having a good time slot with not much competition as much as being a logically written and visually interesting show with a different sort of protagonist.

I don't think it's very realistic, though.

I am probably one of the few to admit to hating "Big Bang" so that doesn't factor into why I watch "Good Dr"

No, I won't watch. It's a stupid premise.
I lied.

For reasons unknown, I watched the first one. Busy doing something, remote across room, whatever...

I liked it.

Now I watch every week. I enjoy it a lot.

Yes, it's a silly premise. But I'm attached to the characters and I'll continue watching.

So...I was wrong.
